My artwork explores the instability of the human body and psyche as they work together to engage and respond to the world, often triggering irrational thoughts and behavior. The work can be fanciful, grotesque, or even comedic, to demonstrate the complexity of grappling with, and attempting to subdue the extraneous influences that play a role in our mental and physical wellbeing.

I’m currently working on a series of charcoal and pastel drawings in my San Francisco studio, which range in size from 76 x 56 inches to 18 x 24 inches.
