I created the Bay Area Craft Beer website out of enthusiasm for the product and frustration. If you’re not plugged into Twitter or constantly scanning the web, it’s hard to stay on top of what’s going on in the Bay Area craft beer scene. Tastings, beer dinners, festivals and special parties are always popping up at venues across the region with new and interesting beer to try.

Bay Area Craft Beer serves as a guide to this community, featuring an event calendar, news and information about the breweries and brewpubs who make beer, the bars, stores and restaurants who lovingly serve it, and the beer bloggers who absorb and document the foamy landscape.

The site was launched on January 1, 2011, and I currently serve as editor and contribute content along with several other writers.
